Please join us in this revolution at a pivotal time in human history.

What is Mental Fitness?

Mental fitness goes beyond conventional standards of mental health. As an analogy, physical health implies the absence of disease. But physical fitness recognizes the body’s full athletic capabilities. Similarly, mental fitness spans a vast spectrum, encompassing the mind’s capacity for immense well-being and related qualities.

For thousands of years, wisdom traditions like Buddhism, Ashtanga Yoga, and Stoicism have developed effective tools for reaching the heights of mental fitness. These traditional systems make it clear that mental fitness isn’t just about seated meditation—it’s a lifestyle. We can train our minds throughout the day while also benefiting those around us. To start or deepen your practice, check out the free FitMind app.
