Episode Overview

Dr. Rick Doblin is the Founder and Director of MAPS, which has raised over $100 million for supporting psychedelics research.

Rick is one of the key leaders of this current psychedelic renaissance, starting MAPS in 1986 with an aim toward making MDMA an FDA-approved medicine.

With recent changes in public policy and a growing body of scientific research, he is close to making this dream a reality.

Topics include Stan Grof's theories of the mind, psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, and the journey towards the legalization of psychedelics.
